Fall is Fun Take 1

Well it might not quite feel like fall outside, but that does not mean we are not celebrating like it is. I love October, all things pumpkins, scarves and making sweet memories with friends and family. This fall is off to a great start!

Best Friend Trip Take 1

Well I cannot believe it took Krista and I this long to plan a mini girls trip just for the two us. We kept it simple this time with a staycation, but boy did we have a blast. We worked out, shopped, layed out, ate lots of yummy food, but mostly we had some great catch up times, laughed a lot and made some sweet memories. I know this is a tradition we will definitely continue.

Jones Family Fun

We always love when Rich and Cathey come for a visit. This time they got to stay extra long because we went to Waco to watch the bears play. They came in Thursday night and we served at a dinner for GCYL, Friday Cathey and I shopped the day away and then met the boys for dinner. Saturday we woke up bright and early and headed to Waco for the day.. we hit up the must stops in Waco (v-techs, spice village, Georges, Katie's custard), and got to see the bears get a win. Sunday we woke up and took the dogs to the dog park and enjoyed brunch before we had to say good-bye. The weekends always go really quick, but boy do we have a lot of fun together. Looking forward to our Halloween Lubbock weekend.

Today sweet Ruthie is 1 month old! I cannot believe it! I have not seen her for two weeks and I know she has changed so much! Looking forward to the middle of October! In the meantime here are some of my daily Ruthiegrams that Annie provides me with :) Annie is rocking it as a mom!

Baylor Football is BACK!

Well technically it has been back for two weeks, but we had our first home game last weekend and it was a blast. I just love being in Waco... there is just something about Baylor football that makes me so happy.  We walked around campus, got some new t-shirts, ate Ninfas, saw two of my favorite freshman and cheered on our team! We are looking forward to another season at the McLane Stadium!

RUTHIE J is HERE!

My 5th niece was born this week. Ruth Josephine Heflin was born September 9, 2015 at 5:56 pm. She weighed 7lbs and was 21 inches long. To say we are in love is an understatement. I am so proud of my sister and loved getting to watch her and Nathan become parents. We are covering this sweet new family in prayer and pray that Ruthie would grow up to know and declare Jesus as her savior. I cannot wait to see how the lord uses this family and sweet Ruthie. Thank you Jesus for this blessing!

Back to School

Well my 7th year of education has officially begun! This is my 3rd year as a counselor at CTMS and it was the smoothest start yet! I am excited for a new year, for routines, for YL, for fall weather, football and all the fun memories ahead! Heres to a great school year!

 My sweet friend Cindy sent me these beautiful flowers on the first day and they made my day! 

 The puppy brothers are sad that I am back to school!
