Family Pictures

So the last time we had family pictures professionally done Truett was not a part of our family, so for our anniversary gift/to get some pictures with Truett we had some done this year.  (Caroline Jurgensen Photography--we highly recommend them) We love them so much and I will treasure them for years to come!

Thankful for my family,

First Annual Friendsgiving

This past weekend we hosted our first annual friendsgiving. We have been blessed behind measure with the community of people we are surrounded with. We cleared our living room out and created one big long table, then spent time around the fire enjoying each others company. We fried and smoked a turkey (thanks AJ & Jeffrey) and everyone else provided sides, appetizers and dessert. It was night filled with food, laughter, and great company. I am so thankful for our home and for the relationships we have with these friends.

Thankful for November,

Fall is Fun Take 2

Wow! I cannot believe it is already November. October is always a long month working in schools, but it sure did fly by this year. We had such a fun month making sweet memories and I'm gonna recap via my Iphone.

First up.. My Sweet niece Ruthie.. because I mean she is the cutest..

We went on our 3rd Whirlwind Weekend which actually go renamed to Girlwind weekend ) It was an all girls 24 hour trip to OKC! We had an absolute blast!

Jeffrey got away for a boys weekend with his Dad.. He is definitely in his happy place here!

I got to finally celebrate my sweet mom's birthday with a cooking class at Sur La Table! We had an absolute blast!

TAYLOR SWIFT was one of the definite high lights of the month.. I mean we bought tickets over a year ago! She did not disappoint! Already ready for her next concert!

Baylor Homecoming got rained out for us this year, but that did not stop us from having a blast! We had a brunch watching party and then ended the day at Dave & Busters playing games! Thankful we met our best friends at Baylor!

My sweet friend Linda got baptized! It was incredible!

We celebrated Halloween with VineVille and dressed up as the instagram girls! We spent Halloween weekend in Lubbock and I am shocked, but I got no pictures! We had a blast with the Joneses though!

I also got some sweet time with my 3 boys! Boy am I thankful for them!

Thankful for October, Pumpkins and sweet memories,

Best Friend Trip Take 1

Well I cannot believe it took Krista and I this long to plan a mini girls trip just for the two us. We kept it simple this time with a staycation, but boy did we have a blast. We worked out, shopped, layed out, ate lots of yummy food, but mostly we had some great catch up times, laughed a lot and made some sweet memories. I know this is a tradition we will definitely continue.

Thankful for Krista,

MJ

Jones Family Fun

We always love when Rich and Cathey come for a visit. This time they got to stay extra long because we went to Waco to watch the bears play. They came in Thursday night and we served at a dinner for GCYL, Friday Cathey and I shopped the day away and then met the boys for dinner. Saturday we woke up bright and early and headed to Waco for the day.. we hit up the must stops in Waco (v-techs, spice village, Georges, Katie's custard), and got to see the bears get a win. Sunday we woke up and took the dogs to the dog park and enjoyed brunch before we had to say good-bye. The weekends always go really quick, but boy do we have a lot of fun together. Looking forward to our Halloween Lubbock weekend.
