Scarf Exchange Take 2

Some girls and I from my community group decided to start a tradition last year to kick off fall with a scarf exchange. This was NOT our idea at all in fact I got it from a blog I follow (mix and match mama..if you do not follow you should) Needless to say it was a blast last year so we carried on the tradition. It is a fun way to get us all together and get a new scarf out of the deal. I hosted it at my house this year and loved getting to put all the details together. Looking forward to many more!

Thats a WRAP for summer 2014

Well here we are in the middle of August and I am back at work. In fact I have been for a week an a half now. It is crazy how fast this summer flew by.. I guess they always do. This summer was low key, but still filled with some fun travel, great times with friends and lots of netflix. Excited for cooler weather, football season and sweaters! It wouldn't be a post without pictures so here's the rest of July via IPHONE pictures.

Sweet Community

Yall I know you have heard me say it before but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my community group. They are seriously the best. We have been blessed beyond words with this community of young adults to do life with. We are adding a new member in July, baby Henlsey. We just showered Claire last weekend and it was such a sweet celebration. We also had the best day moving Claire to her new room for next year. Yall this group of women is incredible! Anyways of course here are some picture!

Summer 2013

Wow I honestly cannot believe that summer 2013 has come and gone. If you were to look at the to do list I made in June during my last days at work you would have noticed that it had for me to blog once a week....Well we can all see that did not happen, but what did happen was I fully enjoyed every minute of this summer. I am amazed with all God did in my heart and life the past two months.  It is a summer I will NEVER forget. Instead of typing out all of the things we did, saw and experienced.. I would much rather use pictures..so here we go. Starting with June...

We started the summer out with a Hillsong Concert in Dallas with my fam! Thanks Mom!

Got to hang out with the soon to be Heflin's before wedding festivities got underway

Took a road trip to Lubbock for....

Father's Day to surprise the most amazing father in law there is.. Rich Jones... and boy was he surprised! 

While we were there we took a trip to Amarillo to see Memaw and Pepaw and of course made  a few shopping and food stops

The rest of the month flew by... I went to a Ranger's game with Lauren, got a new bike, did some decorating around the house, and went to one of my best friend from high school's wedding... 

Last, but certainly not least Annie & Nathan got married the last weekend of June

Wow! What a month! That about wraps up June on to July......

We started July with a road trip for the Jones family vacation in Branson, Mo. Such a fun week to spend time with our sweet family..not to mention great way to spend the 4th of July 

We had lots of fun taking Griffin to his first dog park, I did lots of (for me at least) cooking, hung out with sweet friends at Ft. Worth on the green and downtown Grapevine, had our first sleepover with the Heflin's, danced in the rain with Griffin (we had lots of rain this July), and Griffin learned to jump on our bed (such a big month for Griff)

We ended the month of July with a trip to Frontier Ranch in Colorado with Young Life. God moved in the lives of many of our high school friends and in my life as well. It was so awesome to be in the mountains He created and to serve Him. It definitely was the best week of my life and I cannot wait to go back. Excited to see how God uses us this year through YL. 

Oh ya I hiked a 13,000 Ft Mountain.. Thank you Jesus for giving me the strength to do it all! You are ALWAYS good and I am Always Loved (shout out to the amazing bible study I have done with my small group girls this summer)

We got home to some AMAZING news our Best Friends are having a BOY!!!!!! We cannot wait for December to love on that precious boy! We love yall! 

We finished out the summer by decorating my new office (ahh I start my new Job tomorrow) and hanging at the pool and cooking out with The Jeffrey's & Griff (of course)

 So beyond blessed for such a sweet summer. Summer 2013 I am so sad to see you go...  you were VERY good to me.
