1. A 4 day work week

2. New opportunities

3. A Friday night with no plans

4. A weekend filled with Wedding dress shopping

5. My sweet mom and the day she was born we will celebrate this weekend!

Today I am thankful for...

1. Sweet co workers and getting to know new ones better

2. That I get to work with my sister this year!!

3. Baylor Football starting in a week and a half

4. God's grace.. I am seriously so thankful for each day he gives me and all he has blessed Jeffrey and I with

5. Rangers Baseball.. We got to go to the game last night and enjoy dollar hot dogs!!!

So I totally forgot to post last week :( So I am going to double up this week.. Here we go.. This week I am THANKFUL for..

1. Tomorrow being FRIDAY and Jeffrey is taking half of the day off for us to spend the day together.

2. My sweet sister working with me next year.

3. My niece turns 17 tomorrow and she is such an incredible young lady..Happy Birthday Maddy!

4. 1 and a half month until I will be in Mexico with Jeffrey and our best friends.

5. A job and an awesome partner at work.

6. Community group about to start back up

7. Wedding showers... this weekend we will celebrate Jen & Ben

8. Starbucks Coffee

9. Quinoa (weird I know), but I love it

10. Home, food, clothes, friends & family

We are truly blessed and we give God the glory!

Today I am thankful for...

1. Down time this Thursday afternoon on my couch involving: popcorn, pinterest and some reading.

2. That 1 week from tonight I will be done with SUMMER SCHOOL FOREVER

3. A great place and partner to work with

4. Jeffrey, he really is the best thing to ever happen to me

5. God's grace during ALL times

Today I am thankful for...

1. My family.. even though we may be a bit crazy at times I love them all very much.

2. Vacation at the beach. It really is one of my favorite places on earth.

3. A week off from summer school

4. A sweet husband that missed vacation to stay home and work hard.

5. A sweet husband to go home to on SATURDAY.. I CANNOT wait 9 days without Jeffrey is 9 days to long!

Thankful Friday

So this week has been absolutely crazy busy and I completely forgot to at least do my thankful Thursday, so here it goes:

1. Thankful that I only have 3 weeks of summer school left

2. Thankful for my sweet husband and his grocery shopping ability to get us ready for the week because my flight was canceled.

3. Thankful that God is in control our future plans

4. Thankful for coffee (this has helped me get a lot of things done this week)

5. Thankful for family vacations

Thankful Thursday on FRIDAY

Opps.. I forgot to post yesterday.. and this is one post I am trying to be consistent with, speaking of consistency it is time to pick up my blogging pace.. I have been slacking lately.. anyways this week I am thankful for:

1. Only 4 Thursday night classes & 5 Monday night classes left until I am DONE with summer school FOREVER.

2. A random power outage because Jeffrey and I got to have a study date like old times at Starbucks.

3. That I am able to work out. I take it for granted a lot of the time and this summer I am trying to make it a way of life again. 

4. A random Wednesday night dinner with friends in Dallas. 

5. Travel! We leave for Boston in 3 days and we booked our Anniversary trip to CANCUN in October!

Hope everyone has had a great week, I am hoping to increase my blogging this next week. Anyways..this week I am thankful for..


1. Rest! This has been the least busy/most restful week I have had in I do not even know how long.

2. Hulu Plus.. I caved and got hulu plus for the summer and it has been great being able to watch more of my shows

3. Fun Fridays with my mom and sister.. this week we are headed to the Arbortetum and the Farmers Market

4. Compass Church, we had not been to church in three weeks because we were out of town and this past Sunday I was reminded of how lucky we are to be a part of such an incredible body of Christ

5. Coupons, I am trying to learn the art of saving money... we will see how it goes

I missed last week because we were out of town (not a very good excuse), but I am back this week. This week I am thankful for...

1. SUMMER VACATION.

2. A weekend trip with Jeffrey, Annie and Nathan to see a good friend get married.

3. Spending more time in God's word

4. Having the feeling of relief after seeing my first client all by myself.

5. Spending more time in the kitchen learning to cook Paleo (ill share some recipes soon)

I read this in my quiet time this morning and wanted to share.. this is what I want to spend time with today. I need to work on DOING! Thankful for God's grace and mercy as I learn to be a complete follower of him.

Well I almost forgot to blog today, but thankfully I did not forget. This week I've felt a bit overwhelmed with life. Not sure why, but my prayer this week has been for peace. So here it goes... This week I'm thankful for: 1. God's plan for my life 2. A sleepover with my mom and sister two nights in a row! (lots of Pinterest projects in progress..will post soon) 3. A Saturday with my best friend filled with pampering and shopping 4. A three day weekend and only 8 work days left 5. New running shoes from Jeffrey (hopefully this will help my motivation) Thankful for the life God has given me, MJ

Thankful Thursday

I am so proud of myself right now for remembering to post the things I am thankful for this Thursday! So here it goes...

1. A peaceful Wednesday night with my hubby.
Last night Jeffrey and I had one of the best evenings. No work, no homework, no technology, no distractions. We sat on our patio and enjoyed each others company. We ate spaghetti for dinner. We went to run a few errands. We enjoyed Braums. We did one of our favorite things.. drove around Grapevine looking at homes.

2. That tonight is my last Thursday night class until summer classes start up. So ready for a 3 week break.

3. YL.. we participated in our first VINE/VILLE Young life event this week and we are so excited to serve the lord with this incredible organization

4. Church, Family, Friends,Health, Home, Happiness.. . I take all of these for granted.. I am so blessed that I have all of these things in my life and in abundance. God is so GOOD!

5. Being able to open our house this weekend to have our community group over for a FIESTA!


I am thankful for so much more than that, but those are my top five for today. Thank you Lord for blessing us!

Thankful Thursday

So I am going to attempt to make a commitment to blogging every Thursday on the things I am thankful for at that time. I take for granted all of the amazing things God has blessed our life with. I am so quick to ask God for things and ask his help for things, but I often forget to thank him for all that he has given me. So this week I am thankful for:

1. Beautiful Sunrises on my way to work 

2. My new job as a counselor 

3. That there are only two weeks left in this semester of Grad school 

4. The friendships I have and am continuing to develop 

5. A husband that is helping me learn to budget (even though this is very hard for me)
