Elaine gets married!!!

Elaine is one of my most precious friends. We met in middle school and went all through high school together. When we both decided on Baylor we became even closer. All we did senior year was plan our dorm room and talk about all the fun we would have. Little did I know that I would live with Elaine all 4 years and she would become one of my most loyal and genuine friends. She stood by me when I said I do to Jeffrey and it was such an honor to get to do the same for her! I am so excited for this journey her and Anthony are beginning. I love getting to call Elaine my friend and am thankful I get to live life with her!

Florida 2014

This spring break we got to go to Florida! So proud of Jeffrey for earning this trip! We had an absolute blast! We flew out on Wednesday night, checked in to our hotel at Disney. We did Magic Kingdom Thursday and Hollywood Studios on Friday. We had so much fun just the two of us riding rides and acting silly.

We then left Disney to check in to our hotel for the work trip portion! Jeffrey's company is so generous with this trip and it always a blast! I did a lot of hanging out by the pool and he did a lot of golfing. We did go to Universal one day and had a lot of fun hanging out with our Federated friends!

The Chamber's are having a BABY!!!

 The news is out! The first GCYL baby is coming in September!! I cannot wait to meet this sweet baby! Congratulations AJ & JESS, we are sooo excited for you!

28th Birthday

Well another birthday has come and gone & boy did we celebrate! I am always reminded on my birthday especially how precious my family and friends are. They made this Birthday just as special as all the rest! Excited to see what the lord has in store for this year!

Snow Day 1, 2 & 3

SNOW DAY!!!! Those words are music to this counselor's ears!!! Last week we had two full days off of school, one late start and one early dismissal. I worked a total of 1.5 days! It was so fun! We had brunch, played games, played in the snow, hung out with friends, cleaned, worked out and were just plain lazy.

One of my FAVORITE PLACES on EARTH

Getting to be a YL leader means at some point my sweet sweet girls will graduate and go to college (tears). I honestly do not know how I will say goodbye to these sweet girls in two years, but until then I am going to soak up all the time I get with them. Two of my friends are SENIORS this year and they both were accepted to Baylor, but needed to see the campus. Three of my sophomore girls are already convinced it is where they will go to college so we decided to set up a Baylor day! My bestie Krista came along and we had the best day in Waco. We started the day with a campus tour, then we hit some Waco hot spots (Georges, Spice, Suspension bridge, Common grounds). Krista and I met in Waco so it was fun to get to do that with her. I had the best day showing these girls one of my favorite places on earth. No matter where they end up I know they will be successful! Cannot wait to see how God uses them!
