28th Birthday

Well another birthday has come and gone & boy did we celebrate! I am always reminded on my birthday especially how precious my family and friends are. They made this Birthday just as special as all the rest! Excited to see what the lord has in store for this year!

Snow Day 1, 2 & 3

SNOW DAY!!!! Those words are music to this counselor's ears!!! Last week we had two full days off of school, one late start and one early dismissal. I worked a total of 1.5 days! It was so fun! We had brunch, played games, played in the snow, hung out with friends, cleaned, worked out and were just plain lazy.

One of my FAVORITE PLACES on EARTH

Getting to be a YL leader means at some point my sweet sweet girls will graduate and go to college (tears). I honestly do not know how I will say goodbye to these sweet girls in two years, but until then I am going to soak up all the time I get with them. Two of my friends are SENIORS this year and they both were accepted to Baylor, but needed to see the campus. Three of my sophomore girls are already convinced it is where they will go to college so we decided to set up a Baylor day! My bestie Krista came along and we had the best day in Waco. We started the day with a campus tour, then we hit some Waco hot spots (Georges, Spice, Suspension bridge, Common grounds). Krista and I met in Waco so it was fun to get to do that with her. I had the best day showing these girls one of my favorite places on earth. No matter where they end up I know they will be successful! Cannot wait to see how God uses them!

Valentines Day 2015

This Valentines was extra fun because we got to spend it with Nathan & Annie! We went to stay in Gilmer for the weekend. We started off watching Nathan coach on Friday night, then spent Saturday morning drinking coffee, eating breakfast and catching up. We then loaded up the car and headed to Jefferson, Texas & Uncertain, Texas. Our plan was to do whatever we wanted! It turned out to be a great plan, we ate, antique shopped, took lots of pictures, explored and took in the beautiful day! We finished the day with homemade nachos and a movie at the Heflin's house. I always hate saying goodbye, but sure do love all the time we do get to spend with them!

Life to the FULL

"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." - John 10:10 

Last weekend was, fun, life filling and just plan FULL! My sweet friend, Jess, pointed out that it was a beautiful picture of life lived to the full and it was one I do not want to forget. We spent time with sweet friends, ate yummy food, laughed a lot, danced like teenagers, prayed for our high school friends and used up every minute we were given.
