4th of July 2016

This is the first 4th of July since we have been married that we were at home. Felt strange, but in a good way. We had a very low key weekend, started off at the Farmers Market, played poolside with our besties, spent the morning of the 4th in Fort Worth at the Botanical Gardens and Sundance square and ended the day cooking out with my mom. It was a fun weekend, but at the end of it we decided we liked being out of town too ;) Either way we are thankful to live in the USA and have the freedoms we do. God Bless AMERICA!

Bumpdate

Grapevine Baby Shower

A few weekends ago my sister and some amazing friends came together and threw Mary-Cameron and I one last baby shower. It was the sweetest morning and every detail was thought of. When I think about the women that planned and attended the shower I cannot help but feel overwhelmed with thankfulness that I have them in my life and so will Mary-Cameron.

Summer Fun

Summer is in full swing and I have not done the best job documenting, but I really do want to be able to look back and remember all things big and small. This is a summer unlike any other because we are not traveling or attending YL camp. We are however preparing to welcome the sweetest blessing and we could not be more excited to meet Mary-Cameron and become parents. In the mean time we have been having lots of random fun here and soaking up the summer!

Amarillo/Lubbock Baby Shower Weeekend

We have felt so much love and support as we await the arrival of Mary-Cameron and had the sweetest celebrations. They continued in West, Texas. The Joneses friends from Amarillo and Lubbock each came together to throw us two amazing baby showers. We feel so thankful to each of the women that hosted and attended those showers!  It was truly a weekend I will never forget. Our besties got baby-sitters and gave up the weekend to come play/attend baby showers with us (we sure hit the best friend jack pot with them). We had fun road tripping, hanging out, shopping and seeing all the fun stuff for Mary-Cameron!

Vermejo 2016

Jeffrey turned 30 in May and my father in law Rich turned 60 in February so we decided to take a trip that they would love to celebrate. We booked a fishing trip to Vermejo, New Mexico. Little did the boys know it would become one of our favorite places too. We stayed in the most beautiful house they just redid, fished a ton, had lots of yummy food and made sweet memories. We cannot wait to go back next May!
