Baylor Football is BACK!

Well technically it has been back for two weeks, but we had our first home game last weekend and it was a blast. I just love being in Waco... there is just something about Baylor football that makes me so happy. We walked around campus, got some new t-shirts, ate Ninfas, saw two of my favorite freshman and cheered on our team! We are looking forward to another season at the McLane Stadium!

RUTHIE J is HERE!

My 5th niece was born this week. Ruth Josephine Heflin was born September 9, 2015 at 5:56 pm. She weighed 7lbs and was 21 inches long. To say we are in love is an understatement. I am so proud of my sister and loved getting to watch her and Nathan become parents. We are covering this sweet new family in prayer and pray that Ruthie would grow up to know and declare Jesus as her savior. I cannot wait to see how the lord uses this family and sweet Ruthie. Thank you Jesus for this blessing!

Back to School

Well my 7th year of education has officially begun! This is my 3rd year as a counselor at CTMS and it was the smoothest start yet! I am excited for a new year, for routines, for YL, for fall weather, football and all the fun memories ahead! Heres to a great school year!

Jeffrey and I on our annual back to school date! We started this tradition when we were dating and have continued it ever since!

My sweet friend Cindy sent me these beautiful flowers on the first day and they made my day!

The puppy brothers are sad that I am back to school!

Summer 2015 aka the post that never ends..

Well, I cannot believe this post is finally happening. I wish I could say I had no time to blog this summer, but I honestly did. I just chose to use my time in other ways.. but now as I start the year I want to be able to look back on this summer and remember.

It was a full summer. Full of fun, excitement, joy, sadness and one we will never forget. We got to travel a alot, I got to spend time with college besties, babies were born, soon to be moms in my life were showered, had a staycation, Morgs and I took 17 girls to Frontier Ranch, we had lake trips, pool time, saw all of our families, sadly had to say goodbye to Jeffrey's grandma (Memaw) she was the only grandmother I ever had in my life and she will always be treasured, hung out with friends, had sweet sister time, had fun day dates, shot fireworks, fished, shopped, did some house projects, played with the puppies..honestly we never stopped. It was a crazy full but amazing summer, and I can confidently say I crammed as much possible into my 6 week vacation. So now to the point.. I am going to let my IPHONE pictures capture SUMMER 2015!

My first official day off work we boarded a plane for Puerto Rico.. it was just the two of us and it was AMAZING!

Got home just in time to hang out with this boy while his mom had Jack! I am so so thankful I got to be apart of it all! We love you James and Jack!

Did some golf carting..

Sent a sweet friend off to Wilderness.. She rocked it!

Took a long awaited/planned girls trip with my college besties to Nashville

Yes we had an entire house to sleep in, but we chose to put the mattresses in the living room!

Jeffrey's memaw passed away and we celebrated her life! She was so special to me and such an example of how to love Jesus with your whole life. We will miss her a lot!
