Brit's Bachelorette

Last weekend we had so much fun celebrating the Bride to be with a pool day and a girls night out at Hotel Nylo in Dallas. The hotel was amazing and the rooftop pool was the icing on the cake. It was a great weekend celebrating my sweet friend!

GCYL Crawfish Boil 2015

This was Jeffrey and I's 4th crawfish boil with GCYL and I do not know how it is possible, but it keeps getting better. Crawfish boil is extra special to us because it was our first ever YL thing to go to. We have been hooked every since and I look forward to attending theses for many years to come!

April Showers

April flew by, but we got to spend some sweet time celebrating two special people. My sisters roommate/bestie from college aka my second little sister is getting married in May and we had a bridal shower to celebrate her.

Krista my bestie is having baby #2 in June and we surprised her with a little sprinkle to celebrate Jack & Krista! I cannot wait to be a part of all these sweet times.

And just for fun we registered Annie and Ruthie (yes she has a name and yes it is adorable! Sweet Britt came with us on the same day as her bridal shower ( I told you she was a bestie)

13.1 DONE

Well I am super excited to say that Sunday I completed my second half marathon. It all started back in January when my friend Kori asked a bunch of us at small group to run a half marathon, a few of us agreed and we started training the next day. Morgan and I quickly became running buddies, I knew I could not do this alone! Having her to run with the last 3 months has been so fun. We grew in our friendship and were able to experience this together. We had many great conversations, prayer sessions and precious time together. The whole time we were doing this my prayer has been for the lord to help me with discipline. God taught me so much about myself through this and to him I give the Glory! If you know me at all you know I am an anxious person. Sunday was no different, I was so nervous and to be quite honest I am not really sure why. The worst that would happen is that I would have to walk some. I said a prayer, went to the starting line and started running! The first 7 miles were awesome, I felt so great and I was honestly in shock because it was the longest I had run with out walking at all. Mile 8 hit and I started to fatigue, I kept going because I was more afraid that if I started walking I might not start up again. Mile 9, 10 & 11 were the hardest of the entire race, but we pushed on. Mile 12 came and we kicked it in to gear and finished the race in 2 hours and 19 minutes putting us at a 10:36 pace, faster than we trained! Crossing the finish line was incredible and it is a day I will never forget!

So thankful I get to serve a living God and loved celebrating HIM last weekend! We started our day with coffee, headed to church and then brunch with The Chamber's (since this is the 2nd year we have done this I say it is an Easter tradition.. I love traditions and all that they represent). It was a great day and I am just so thankful!

Opps I forgot to mention on our way home from church our sweet neighbors helped us do some trash digging and we scored a new backyard table and chairs :)

ANNIE IS HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!

Yall to say I am excited is an understatement! I cannot wait to meet Baby girl H and spoil her rotten. I pray that Annie & Nathan get to soak up every minute of this pregnancy, I pray for a healthy baby girl and I pray that she would grow up to know Jesus and point others toward him with her life.

So lets just recap something.. I have known this news since... February 14 and it is now April! I have been dying to share this with everyone I know!

Last weekend we went to Longview to celebrate them telling everyone it was a girl and to celebrate their sweet growing family! It was such a special day!

Happy Birthday Allison & Annie!!

So both of my sisters have a birthday in March and I do not think I can remember a time we all got together to celebrate! This year was so fun because we all drove to Houston for the weekend. My big brother and most of his family (we missed you Mason) came, all the Copello's and then our crew! We hung out, went to an art festival, laid by the pool, ate lots of yummy food and laughed a lot! It was a great weekend away with the family! So thankful I get to have an older sister and a baby sister too!
