Easter 2013

"He has Risen! He is not here." - Mark 16:6

This Resurrection Sunday was a very special one. Jeffrey and I started out our day serving in Guest Gathering at our church. Our experience there was a huge reason we felt called to Compass. We loved getting to serve our church and meet new visitors. We then headed over to my mom's house. She made the day very special. All of her details were adorable, our food was delicious and we had a great time celebrating with sweet family. I am so thankful I get to serve a living God! Happy Easter!

Annie's First Bridal Shower

Sunday was Annie's first bridal shower hosted by some of her sweet friends. These are friends who have been a part of her entire life. They went out of there way to make it a special day. The weather was amazing, the food was yummy, the company was great and the bride to be felt very special. 90 days until she is a HEFLIN. Enjoy this sweet time Annie! I love you!

House Update

Well I have not done as good as I would have like updating about the house.. but it goes. We officially moved in February 24! It was a month earlier than we had planned, but it all worked out. It has been crazy to say the least the only finished room is our bedroom. We have enjoyed our mini fridge and doing laundry at friends houses. Let me just take minute to thank all of our friends and family for letting us do laundry, inviting us for home cooked meals and for even letting us store food in your fridge. We are beyond blessed to have people in our lives who are so generous. I wish I could say that the house was done, sadly it is not. It is ALOT slower than I imagined. The kitchen should be done this weekend, which will then allow Jeffrey to lay the rest of the floor and finally we can unpack and bring furniture in!!!! The end is in sight. I am so thankful we did this, but I will NEVER ever ever ever paint a house again. All that aside we are so excited to start making it into our home. I will do a big before after post as soon as I get to that point! That is all I have for now!

Hawaii Highlights

AMAZING! That pretty much sums up our trip to Hawaii! It was a great time spent with each other, friends from all over the US that he met through his company, and just enjoying the beautiful land God created. We were so thankful we went early, but wished we would have stayed a day or to late. It was more than we could have imagined and we were so thankful we got the opportunity to go!
